we've just returned from a quick trip out to Kansas where Kayla, Crystal and I were able to enjoy some time with her parents. The weather was sweltering( much to Crystal's enjoyment) and the rides were free! And although the prospect of free carnival rides was not that thrilling to Crystal, I had a great time taking full advantage of it!

this year for the fourth we were invited to the annual Vivolo BBQ, and although the weather didn't hold up ( it began to rain around 5pm) a good time was still had by all in attendance, the 4th also happens to be Dean's sister Lara's birthday
