We had a few days off last week so we headed up to NY to visit the family. I had left a day early and Crystal came up the following day on the train. Her first time on a public bus had been two years ago.....In Aruba. Growing up in Texas there is not the same amount of public transportation as there is on the east coast. So, accopinaied by my father, I headed into the city to meet her at Penn Station. A couple a of pics are included from our walk for Penn Station to GCT ( Grand Central Terminal) where we caught a train back up to Congers. GCT

Along the way we ran into two tourists from Ireland who were extremely excited to have their
picture taken with a homeless person. I obliged them and then got one taken for my self as well. He did have a pretty creative sign. I refrained from tellin him off but still made a donation.

Wedding Shower

So a few weeks ago my mother hosted a wedding shower for my sister, at her home in Congers,NY. Women only! A great time was had by all. Pictured are Sarah, Crystal, Grandma and Mom. The wedding is a little over 2 and a half months away. Check the John and Sarah link for more updates.
