Killington

What a weekend. We made it up to Killington on Friday night meet up with John and Sarah and got some dinner in town. The food...Not so good. The company was great though. We awoke early in the morning on Saturday and headed out to the mountain. It was a beautiful day. The forecasted rain stayed away and we enjoyed sunny blue skies. It took a bit to get accustomed to the " snow" It is primarily artificial there, not the natural powder Crystal and I enjoyed last season out in Denver. Overall it was a great trip. John taught Crystal and myself a few things to help us improve our skills. Unlike a close friend of mine who stranded me at the top of a black diamond back in 8th grade!! Included are some pics from the trip.

headed for the Mts

so we've got a 4 day weekend....That's right 4 days off in a row!!! So we are headed north to Vermont to catch some snow at Killington. We are gonna meet up with Sarah & John and make our first run of the season. Although it won't be Colorado ( which is where the pictures were taken last season at Breckenridge) we are looking forward to it. Hopefully the weather will play nice and produce some fresh powder. Last I checked, the forecast was for rain , if that is the case, we will have to amend our plans. But we hope for cold and snow. Well at least I do. Crystal always hopes for heat and sun!
